Despite the fact that Pakistan IT market is flourishing with the rate of 50% per annum, there are even more business opportunities available in industry and consumer market. This thesis purpose is to provide better understanding of available business opportunities in Pakistan IT market, specifically for Scandinavian IT service companies. This thesis also describes the best possible way to grasp these business opportunities. For this purpose ITUM Midt-Norge AS was taken as an example of Scandinavian IT service company. ITUM portfolio of services was studied and analyzed in Scandinavian IT services market. Growth potential and market trends in Scandinavian IT services market were analyzed by studying relevant literature. Pakistan IT market was studied and analyzed by interviews, questionnaire and web research of available IT companies and potential customers in Pakistan. Different business tools were used to analyze business potential in Scandinavian and Pakistan market against ITUM services. Niche customer market has defined for ITUM scope of services in Pakistan, along with the analysis of other potential customers market for Scandinavian IT service companies.It is concluded that Scandinavian IT market is developing and in future there is good scope upcoming in security services. For those Scandinavian companies who are looking for business opportunities in emerging markets; Pakistan is good option with lots of benefits and emerging business opportunities. To grasp these opportunities Scandinavian companies need to develop a partnership with a local company in order to understand local culture and sustainable development of their business in Pakistan.
